I see these all the time, but have never used one before, it is easy and convenient.I can see this is a mature product and has benefited by years of consumer feedback. Adjustable temp, beep when ready, interchangeable plates just to name a few of the refinements. The grill has a fairly large surface, and has double hinges to accommodate thick foods. These hinges are strong and feel like they will last a long time. However my is a little tighter on one side which makes opening and closing a little strange feeling. I suspect over time it will even out though and it does not impact performance. Speaking of performance, this is where it shines. Plenty of power, heats quickly and can hold temp well. Also the heating element is large and while the very edge of the trays are a little cooler, overall the heat is even with no hot spots or cool spots.
