I found it to be particulary good for searing fish and really like the smoke free feature. I was a little skeptical of the smoke free feature however it really does do a good job of cooking with little-to-no smoke. I really found the griddle to be very useful as I love sauteed mushrooms on burgers and the griddle and grill together are quite conducive for this type of cooking. Having one place to grill and griddle is very handy for eggs and sausage or bacon for breakfast too. The nice feature of the grill is the temperature control; you can sear a steak at 400 degrees and then turn the temperature down. Really makes a difference; steaks were tender and juicy. Next I tried burgers. Came out great. Cooked them well done and they were still flavorful and juicy cooking at 325 degrees. I previously had a George Forman and this grill is far better. In my opinion the problem with the Forman is that everything is cooked very quickly at 400 degrees; meat was often dry because of this. This grill is not as fast as a Forman but it is definately worth the wait.
