It grills to perfection. The added waffle plates is a great bonus too. I don't understand why some people write that it is hard to clean I tried and it was a breeze. This review is from: Cuisinart GR-4N 5-in-1 Griddler & GR-WAFP Griddler Waffle Plates (Deluxe Kit) All I wanted in one product. It is very versatile and you can do panini and also grill a stake. I love it I was delighted that Cuisinart developed a waffle set to add to their Griddler. It completes an already great unit. However, I am disappointed in several things. First, the material used to make the waffler is lighter in weight than the originals, so I wonder if they are of poorer quality. Second, even following the directions to spray with oil, the waffles seem to stick unless you practically burn them and they don't rise as high as Belgian waffles are supposed to.
